Selbys the Science People – A History of H B Selby Australia Limited was commissioned by the late B A Selby and published in 2005, in his 91st year. Written by Samuel Furphy, it traces the growth of a family business from its earliest beginnings at the turn of the 20th century, recording the challenges of surviving in a corporate world and concluding with a bizarre takeover in 1982.

Professor Richard Robson Awarded Nobel Prize For Chemistry
University of Melbourne Professor Richard Robson was one of three scientists awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Professor Robson received his Nobel Medal from the King of Sweden on 11 December 2025 at a ceremony in Stockholm.
